So, now that I have a pair of international orange khakis, I have to figure out what I can actually wear with them that doesn’t look completely ridiculous.
(Other than the obvious gray t-shirt with darker gray Golden Gate Bridge silhouette, of course.)

Today, someone asked me if I belonged to San Francisco.
It was clear English wasn’t her first language. I’m sure she meant to ask if I live here, and she followed up by asking if I could give her some directions to a few interesting sites for her photography project.
I liked her actual wording a lot better than the implied question, though. I answered, “I don’t live here...

I’ve been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles lately, especially this week. I have been enjoying myself very much, but at the same time, it’s making me miss San Francisco even more. I can’t stop myself from thinking about fog drifting in from the water. I want to go home.
