That thing they say about the stereotypical San...
I had a moment of stereotype reinforcement tonight.
The following conversation occurred entirely via Twitter on our respective iPhones. Of course.
Me: Anyone want to get food or drinks tonight?
Friend: We're out at , if you want to come.
Me: Where is that? Yelp isn't telling me that exists.
Push alert on my phone: *Foursquare: Friend has checked in at *
Friend: Just checked in. You can get directions from my Foursquare.
So I looked up the address, went there, and checked in on Foursquare myself. Of course.
And now I'm posting this on Tumblr. Of course.

I need to think of more ways to be engaged with and involved in San Francisco while I’m not there. I need to find more ways to be present there, even if I’m not literally present there. I need to figure out these things to get me through the next year. I may not be able to actually be a San Franciscan yet, but I want to come as close as possible given how far away I live.
